Here is a short update about my Cancer situation. After visits to hospitals in Oliver, Penticton and Kelowna and doctors at each location, there is a plan of action in place to deal with my Cancer. Where it stands right now, and there is nothing to say this won’t change as time progresses, I will be undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for 6 or 7 weeks in Kelowna beginning the first part of December. That will be followed by surgery in Penticton with about a 10 day recovery time in the Penticton hospital. Then more chemotherapy following surgery. This will bring the time to around the end of February. Will I survive? The Radiation Oncologist believes that I have a 97 percent chance of beating this. In other words there will be a 3 percent chance that the Cancer will return at some point.
I really feel sorry for Cisco . . . he will have to go to a kennel for about 2 or 3 months.
