Because I am now spending weekdays at the Cancer Lodge next to the Kelowna hospital, living out of an overnite bag, I have a lot of time to spare. Cisco is in a kennel and my “stuff” is in the motor home in Oliver. My treatments only take a few minutes each day. I have time to sit and read, and write, and socialize with other patients, and sometimes be entertained by very talented musical groups that occasionally visit the lodge.
And I think about life . . . life is still good. And it *will* get better.
