CISCO: 1996 - 2009
Cisco, my Papillon, my friend, my constant companion, died today, in Oliver, at the age of 13 years (91 man years). Cisco brought joy to Aggie and myself for 9 years and then brought joy to me for another 3 and a half years after Aggie died. I will miss Cisco very much.

Dear little Cisco – great photo! – he may not have been a very large dog, but what he lacked in stature he certainly made up for with attitude! So sorry for your grief, Roger!! Here are a few line borrowed from John O’Donohue – lines to soothe an aching heart:
Though we need to weep your loss,
You dwell in that safe place in our hearts,
Where no storm or night or pain can reach you.
Your love was like the dawn
Brightening over our lives
Awakening beneath the dark
A further adventure of colour.
…
Whatever you enfolded in your gaze
Quickened in the joy of its being;
You placed smiles like flowers
On the altar of the heart.
Your mind always sparkled
With wonder at things.
Though your days here were brief,
Your spirit was alive, awake, complete.
…

Hi dear Roger- So vey sorry to hear of Cisco’s passing as I know how much you and Aggie loved him. So now he’s with Aggie and its her turn to have him for a while again! I beleive that there’s a place in heaven for God’s animals, his “creatures great and small”.
Take care Roger. Hope you are doing OK.

Hi Miki -
Thank you, it’s good to hear from you. I will try to get to Inuvik this summer or fall if Aggie’s CEP comes thru otherwise maybe next summer.
